SERVICES AND ACCOMMODATION •

 Dan Tours cannot be held 

responsible if some of the services, bonus features, or facilities 

described in this brochure, are not available or are not working. 

Hotels may curtail or alter some facilities without notice, usually for 

the purposes of ongoing maintenance and improvement. Use of 

recreation equipment and facilities which may be included in your 

holiday package are subject to availability. All Dan Tours hotel rooms 

are contracted on a “run of the house” basis. Specific requirements 

with regard to room location and other special requests cannot 

be guaranteed, and in most cases cannot be confirmed prior to 

departure. This is at the discretion of the hotel. Dan Tours reserves 

the right to restrict the number of single, double, triple, quad and 

child bookings it will accept at a particular property. 

CHILDREN •

 Unless otherwise stated, children’s prices are 

restricted to children under 12 years of age, sharing a room with 

two full paying adults.

HANDICAPPED PASSENGERS •

 Dan Tours cannot guarantee that 

destination airports, transfer vehicles and accommodation will be 

wheelchair accessible. Services required for handling wheelchair 

confined passengers are not included in the package price.

NOTICE TO TRAVELLERS • 

Travellers should be aware that dif-

ferent living standards and practices and different standards and 

conditions with respect to the provisions of utilities, services and 

accommodation may exist outside North America. The quality 

standards of hotels and other services described in this brochure are 

established according to the standards of each particular country. If, 

due to circumstances beyond our control, the local supplier makes 

changes in itineraries, schedules or hotels, we reserve the right to 

substitute any of the services or hotels with similar or better ones. 

TRAVEL POLICY • 

All passengers must have Visa and all health 

and other documentation required by laws of the countries they 

will be visiting. It is recommended that you check all the require-

ments. Dan Tours will not assume any responsibility whatsoever 

for any passenger not having the correct documentation and no 

refunds will be made.

RESPONSIBILITY • 

The travel agent and/or tour operator acts 

only as an agent for the various companies, owners, or contrac-

tors providing the means of transportation, accommodation, and 

other services pertaining to the trip. All exchange orders, coupons 

and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under 

which such means of transportation, accommodation and other 

services are offered or provided. The issuance or acceptance of such 

tickets shall be deemed as consent to the future conditions. Dan 

Tours shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, 

delay or any irregularity in any vehicle or through the act of default 

of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers 

or any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant of any other person, 

resulting in loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in 

connection herewith. Dan Tours cannot accept the responsibility 

for changes in transportation schedule or other causes. The right 

is reserved to accept or retain any person as a member of any 

tour, or to change or withdraw the tour as circumstances demand. 

Each exchange coupon, order or ticket is to be regarded as one 

contracted by or on behalf of the particular company or person 

named in it.

BAGGAGE • 

Baggage is carried at owner’s risk. The company 

assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or mishandling of 

baggage. Baggage insurance is highly recommended.

RESERVATIONS • 

Reservations should be made as early as pos-

sible to ensure space. We will accept reservations up to departure 

date if space is available. Reservations are accepted through 

authorized travel agents

DEPOSITS • 

A non-refundable deposit of $300 per person in a DBL 

room and $600 per person in a SGL room is required at the time 

of booking. This deposit is required to secure space with airlines, 

hotels and other suppliers.

PAYMENTS • 

Final payments should be made no later than 45 days 

prior to departure and in full if the reservation is made less than 45 

days before departure. Cheques, Visa, MasterCard and American 

Express cards can be used as forms of payment only for airfare 

subject to airline approval. Some restrictions apply. 

CHANGES • 

Changes will be made upon availability of space at a 

charge of $50. Changes made within 45 days will be subject to our 

cancellation fees described herewith. No refunds will be made for 

missed sightseeing trips, transfers, meals or hotel accommoda-

tion not used.

CANCELLATION FEES •

 If you are forced to cancel your booking, 

your Travel Agent must advise us in writing. The following charges 

are effective, plus any non-refundable fees previously submitted, 

from the day written notification of your cancellation is received:

46 days or more prior to departure 

$300 per person

22-45 days prior to departure 50% of the total holiday cost

21-0 days prior to departure 

100% of the total holiday cost

TRAVEL INSURANCE • 

It is recommended to buy cancellation and 

medical insurance to protect yourself against cancellation and/or 

changes which will be a result of sickness or other accidents or 

emergencies. Dan Tours will not make any refunds beyond it’s 

cancellation policy to customers that refused to purchase travel 

insurance.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE • 

Check with airlines for baggage 

allowance 

TRAVELLER’S RESPONSIBILITY • 

Dan Tours will do its utmost to 

update customers with any pertinent Travel Advisory information that 

will come to Dan Tours’ attention. However, final responsibility lies 

with the passenger for any up to date Government Travel Advisory. 

Cancellation insurance will not provide coverage if Government 

Travel Advisory exists. 

CURRENCY FLUCTUATION • 

Prices may be adjusted in the 

event of currencies fluctuations according to TICO regulations 

and guidelines

ACKNOWLEDGMENT -The passenger hereby 

acknowledges having read the provisions within relat
