Day 13 - Thursday

Marrakech • Essaouira

Today we’ll drive from Marrakech to Essaouira 

and enjoy a guided tour of this ancient port 

city. We’ll have dinner here and spend the 

night.(B, D)

Day 14 - Friday

Essaouira • Safi • El Jadida • Casablanca

In the morning you’ll head for for Safi to visit the 
Portuguese Sea Castle, admire the work of local 
potters and explore Oualidia, the seaside resort 
famous for its oyster farms. In the afternoon we’ll drive 
to El Jadida, a Portuguese city of the Renaissance, 
dropped into the Moroccan desert. Our day will end 
in Casablanca with dinner and a well-deserved sleep.

Departure

After breakfast and reluctant goodbyes, we’ll get you 
to the airport in plenty of time for your flight (B)

Today is yours to spend as you please, relaxing, exploring 

the town -- or you may choose to join an optional full-day 

excursion to Zagora, the Draa Valley and the ancient 

Jewish village of Amzrou. We’ll spend the night in 
Ourzazate. (B, D)

Day 9 - Sunday

Ouarzazate • Marrakech 

Today we’ll tour Ouarzazate and the Kasbahs at 

Tiffeltout and Taourirt. You’ll travel to Ait Ben Haddou, 

a fortified town built of striking red clay. Crossing the 

mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, we’ll reach 
Marrakech, have dinner and spend night. (B, D)

Day 10 - Monday

Marrakech

Today we’ll tour Marrakech – a wonderful mix of the 

ancient and the modern. Join our expert guide in an 

exploration of the souk of Marrakech and the public 

square, the Jemaa el-Fnaa. In the afternoon you’ll visit the 

Saadian Tombs, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Menara 

and Agdal Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque and the 

Bahia Palace. Spend the night in this magical city. (B)

Day 11,12 - Tuesday, Wednesday

 

Marrakech

These two days are yours to explore the city, shop, or 

just relax. Enjoy sumptuous dinners for the next two 

nights. (B, D)

We’ll greet you at the airport and get you to your hotel 

for the night - welcome to Casablanca and the trip of

Day 2 - Sunday

Casablanca • Rabat

After breakfast and a chance to meet your fellow 
travelers, you’ll enjoy a tour of this vibrant city with 
our expert guide before continuing on to the nearby 
walled-city of Rabat. Here we’ll have dinner and spend

Day 3 -Monday

Rabat • Moulay Idriss • Volubilis • Meknes • Fez

Today you’ll stroll the ancient walls of the city with an expert 
guide. You’ll explore the “

Imperial Garden City”, wander 

the 1000 year-old 

Kasbah of Oudayas, the Hassan 

Tower and walk the walls surrounding the Royal Palace. 
From Rabat you’ll head to the beautiful hilltop town of 
Moulay Idriss, the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis 
and the city of Meknes. Tonight you’ll sleep in Fez.... (B, D)

Day 4 -Tuesday

Fez

Today you’ll be immersed in the culture of Morocco. 
After breakfast, we’ll visit the medieval Medina and the 
Karaouine Mosque, home to the oldest university in the 
world. In the afternoon you’ll stroll the twisting alleyways 
of the fabled souk of Fez. We’ll have dinner and spend 
the night here. (B, D)

Day 5 - Wednesday

Fez • Erfoud

This morning we’ll head to the mountains. Our stops, 

the Berber village of Imouzer du Kandar and the 

hill-top town of Ifrane feel much like alpine resorts 

transported from Europe. Crossing the mountains 

along the ancient route from Fez, we’ll pass through 

the capital of the region, Beni Mellal and arrive in 

Marrakech for dinner and night’s rest. (B, D)

Day 6 - Thursday

Erfoud 

This morning you’re free to explore the city -- in the 
afternoon we’ll head for Rissani and visit the 17th 
century Kasbah and the ruins of the imposing 19th 
century castle, Ksar Abbar. You might choose to join an 
optional excursion to Merzouga to view the sunset over 
the Sahara. Tonight we’re in Erfoud.(B, D)

Day 7 - Friday

Erfoud • Tinghir • El Kelaa • Ouarzazate

This morning we’ll journey the Tindjdad Road to 
Tinghir and explore the Kasbah and the breathtaking 
Todra Gorge. We’ll move through the Dades Valley
