Our tour begins with a drive north to

Safed, one of Israel’s four holy cities and

spiritual centre of the

Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) movement. We’ll visit the

Caro and Ari Synagogues, stroll through narrow alleyways and explore the
picturesque

Artists’ Quarter. Continuing to the Golan Heights, we’ll stop

at the

Gadot Overlook (Mitzpe Gadot). Located on the site of former Syrian

bunkers, the monument honours members of the Alexandroni Brigade. From
here you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the

Hula Valley before returning to your

point of departure Thursday.

We’ll begin this day of leisure with a drive through the

Judean Desert to the

Dead Sea. You’ll visit a shop dedicated to local cosmetic products and relax
by shore of the lowest body of water on earth. Here you can cover yourself
with the mineral-rich, therapeutic mud and float effortlessly in the sea’s dense
waters – you’ll return to your hotel a whole new person.
Note: *Spa treatments are not available; lockers are available at additional
cost. *Hat, sunscreen, bathing suit and towel are recommended.

DEAD SEA RELAXATION

We’ll begin the day at the

Mount of Olives for a panoramic, breathtaking

view of the city. At

Mount Zion we’ll visit King David’s Tomb, the Room of Last

Supper and the imposing Dormition Abbey. Entering the Old City, we’ll walk
through the Armenian and

Jewish Quarters to the recently restored Cardo,

the ancient Roman road. You’ll see the Jewish

Wailing Wall (the Kotel), the

Christian Quarter and follow the Via Dolorosa to the Church of Holy
Sepulchre. Next, we’ll drive through the Judean desert to the Dead Sea, the
lowest place on earth. Here you’ll have the opportunity to float in the

Dead

Sea’s buoyant waters and cover yourself with mineral-rich, therapeutic mud
before we return you to your point of departure. NOTE: Modest dress (no
shorts or sleeveless shirts) and head coverings are required for visiting holy
sites. A bathing suit, hat and towel are recommended for the Dead Sea. Daily.

JERUSALEM & DEAD SEA

Today we’ll drive along the coastal road to

Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital

and port; enjoy a walking tour of the theatre, the

archaeological ruins and

excavations. From here we’ll move on to

Haifa for a scenic view of the city, the

port and the magnificent

Baha’i gardens and shrine. At Rosh Hanikra we’ll

descend by cable car into the underwater grottoes and admire the spectacular
natural formations. Onto Acre, recognized by UNESCO as world heritage
site, where we’ll tour the market, the mosque and the

old port. Our visit will

conclude with the remarkable underground Crusader city and crypt, learning
about their fascinating history before returning to our point of departure. Daily
(except Thursday)
